An absolutely fabulous night for our fight team as we had 9 fighters competing on our home fight show and all 9 recorded victories in front of a sell out 500+ crowd. I am really proud that the gym has two new Scottish junior champions, Dale Mall & Martin Mckelvie both secured their titles by gaining unanimous points decision over their opponents. Our other 7 winning fighters were, Lucy McMillan, Craig Maloney, Chris Shaw, Paul Lamont, Damien Bronshoff, Henry Kerr & Shaun Murney. An absolutely fabulous achievement by all, thanks to everybody for all the hard work they put in and especially to Lloyd Cochran, Stevie Houston, Josh Menzies & Andrew O'Brien for ensuring that the fighters were in the best shape possible to fight.
I'd like to thank everybody as well who took the time out to come and hold pads for the fighters as they prepared for their fights even though they weren't fighting themselves, this shows that we have a great team spirit in the gym and this is exactly what we need to be a success in the professional fight circuit. Can't wait for the next show in August!
